I am a University of Edinburgh Geography BSc graduate whose academic interests lie within glaciology, climate science, and quantitative methods. Also a big fan of data. Recently spent summer of 2016 working at CDP (Climate Disclosure Project) as a Carbon Data Analyst intern whereby I helped clean, contribute, and produce GLM and bottom-up models to predict company carbon emissions data.
I have a strong passion for interdiscplinary learning, combining geography and maths. I have recently produced a set of workshops entitled A Geographical Introduction to Statistics, which aims to promote confidence in students using descriptive and inferential statistics, and introduce them to new technologies such as coding and GIS.
This website is also the hosting site for the University of Edinburgh Geographical Society newsletter articles.
